2024 Sparkling Chenin Magnum

Making sparkling wine is always a fun adventure, and this year’s Sparkling Chenin Blanc feels especially vibrant — concentrated and zippy while still soft, crisp, and incredibly easy to drink. The Chenin Blanc comes from Shell Creek Vineyard in Paso Robles, a historic site planted in 1972 with sandy soils layered over fossilized seashells that bring brightness and mineral energy to the wine. After a short time on the skins, the grapes were directly pressed and naturally fermented in stainless steel before finishing fermentation in pressurized tank with fresh Chenin Blanc must to capture the bubbles. Festive enough for celebrations but casual enough for brunch or any long afternoon with friends.
